Shots in the dark
Okay so this shoot was particularly fun for me because I had never shot in the dark. It was something that I wanted to try because I have shot theater productions that are controlled dark, but I wanted to do one where I worked with my flash and other lighting scenarios I had on hand.
So of course I had to call up my friends with swords and we went out to a park nearby and started shooting. Shameless plug, she designs and sews her own cloaks so if you are needing one let me know. Anyway! I was having issues with my flash. It was too aggressive for the soft light that we were needing.
But then I remembered I had these puck lights I got forever ago so I got them out and threw them around on the ground. It worked perfectly and set such a cool mood for the shoot. If you are wanting some I will link them below. It was still a controlled lighting scenario but it was cool to try something new and get to play with fantasy gear with my friends.
